Hannah, the Brownie Book Club Editor, thinks this...

Jane Blonde spies trouble had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. It had lots of unexpected twists and turns. Every girl wants to be Jane Blonde and every boy wants to be friends with a superhero like Jane Blonde. This is one great read!

Arianne, aged ten, thinks this...

I didn't get it at first. I got a bit confused but then I read it again and I understood. When she is Janey she is a bit boring but when she is Jane Blonde she is great. I wish I had a cat called Trouble and I could do cool things underwater like Jane Blonde does.

Lily, aged eight, thinks this...

How cool would it be to be like Jane? If I were a superhero I would like to be able to fly. The book was really great. I got it for my birthday which was last week. I had to ask my mum about some of the words. I think she liked the book too.

It would be cool if you were Jane although it would be hard to save loads of people.

I enjoyed the book a lot. It would be great to be like Jane. I would love it to be a hero and to fly! In most books I need help with reading but this book made reading easy and fun even my mum liked it when she was reading it to me!

I thought it would be rubbish but then as I started getting into it more I started to like it. I would love to be like Jane and be cool.

Georgia, aged nine, thinks this...

If I was Jane I would want to be a superhero. I would like to fly up in the sky and see everybody and walk on roofs, that would be cool.

Sue-Yin, aged nine, thinks this...

I think the book is brilliant. It would be cool to do some acrobats like her, and Jill Marshall is a good writer. Most of the time when I go to a shop with books, I read Jane Blonde and enjoy reading the book. I would love a cat like Trouble, although I love dogs better than cats.

Rachel, aged eight, thinks this...

I think that this book would be a wonderful book who girls would be attracted to. I want to become a writer too so, as a child, I'm working hard, for a lovely book. How cool would it be to be like Jane! Some day maybe you could read my book!

Helen, aged seven, thinks this...

I think that Jane Blonde is a bit of a tricky book to read. My favourite part was in chapter two. I got it for Christmas last year so I have had it for quite a while. When I had finished it, I showed my brother, Matthew, and he read and he really likes. Thank you Jill Marshall for writing the book I really enjoyed it!

Phoebe, aged seven, thinks this...

It was boring at first but then it got much more exciting. I want to be her but I would not like it if I got told off all of the time and it would be much better if she saved people. I wish she was real. I liked it quite a lot.

Emily, aged seven, thinks this...

It was quite cool. I mean, it would be great to be like Jane! At first I thought it would be one of those REALLY boring books, but when I had finished it, I didn't want to give it back to the library!
